Labels:text OCR: An awake person will normally breathe 12-16 times per minute. If after opening the airway and looking, listening, and feeling for 10 seconds, the person is not breathing, administer 2 quick breaths. If a pocket mask or other rescue mask is available, use it, otherwise use mouth-to-mouth breathing. While holding the neck extended, pinch off the nose with your forehead- hand. Take a deep breath. Place your mouth entirely over the person's mouth, making a tight seal. Breathe out while watching their chest rise out of the corner of your eye. Remove your mouth, allow the person to exhale, and repeat.
